Term 3 Clinics Underway – Book Now

Our Term 3 Junior, Women’s, and Intermediate Clinics are underway at Ranfurlie Golf Club — but there’s still time to join in. Late sign-ups are welcome, and fees are pro-rated based on the number of remaining sessions.

Please note: The first couple of weeks of clinics will be delivered by Bobby while Jack is away.

These 8-week programs are a great way to build skills and confidence in a fun, supportive environment — no matter your experience level.

Coaching Availability Update

Please note that Jack Cox is currently on leave and will be unavailable for private lessons or clinics until his return on Tuesday, 5th August.

In Jack’s absence:

• Coach Ben Bunny remains available on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

• Bobby Parish, our third-year trainee, will be conducting the Junior and Women’s Clinics during this period.

Titleist Event – Fully Booked

Please note that this event is now fully booked. Keep an eye out for our next Titleist fitting event – announcements will be made soon.

In the meantime, don’t forget that the Ranfurlie Golf Academy has a full range of Titleist fitting equipment available. Both Jack Cox and Ben Bunny offer 30–60 minute club fitting sessions for members who are serious about upgrading their golf equipment. IMPORTANT NOTICE – Amstel Club carpark access closure 

Please be advised that our carpark entrance from Augusta Street will be temporarily closed from Monday, 14 July 2025, due to scheduled maintenance and improvement works.

During this closure, carpark access to the club can be made via Snead Boulevard ONLY.

We kindly ask all members to make alternative arrangements and follow on-site signage for directions.

These works are essential to ensure continued safety, accessibility, and long-term improvements to our facility. We appreciate your patience and understanding while the upgrades are carried out.

Thank you for your cooperation — we’ll share updates on its reopening as it becomes available.

Message from your Superintendent

Some of you may have noticed that reconstruction of the 10th greenside bunker has commenced. This is part of our ongoing commitment to maintain and improve our course facilities. 

The initial phase will focus on one of the 10th greenside bunkers, with plans to proceed to the left-hand side bunker on the 17th hole thereafter. Schedules, especially at this time of year, are at the mercy of mother nature, so I am hopeful to move through these works efficiently. 

While we anticipate minimal disruption to your golfing experience, safety remains our top priority. In situations where our maintenance staff may be at risk from play, we may implement the following temporary measures: 

• Temporary greens may be utilised during weekdays 
• Regular greens will be restored for weekend play 
• Clear signage will be placed on affected holes 

These measures will only be implemented when absolutely necessary for staff safety, and we will make every effort to minimise inconvenience to our members. 

We thank you for your understanding and patience during these improvement works. 

The enhancements to our bunkers will ultimately improve playing conditions and the overall aesthetic of our course.

There’s been a lot of interest lately in booking our function spaces here at the Amstel Group, and as a result, dates for the rest of 2025 are filling up quickly.

Our functions team is currently busy organising a range of events, including birthdays, baby showers, weddings, and engagements, for both members and guests.

If you’re thinking about holding a celebration, we recommend reaching out soon.
