Course Update – Temporary Hole and Access Changes
A Message from your Course Superintendent Andrew Anderson

Please note that from Monday 20th, the 4th green will be out of play to allow for upcoming works.
During this period, the hole will play as a short par 4 measuring approximately 275 metres. Members are reminded to exercise caution — if you are capable of reaching the green from the tee, please ensure the group ahead and any staff working nearby are clear before playing your shot.
Additionally, the 5th tee will be relocated to a temporary position at the front of the 5th fairway. The entire area surrounding the 4th green and 5th tee will be designated as an exclusion zone.
Only authorised personnel will be permitted within this area. Do not enter under any circumstances without prior approval from the Course Superintendent.

The much loved Jack Ash Trophy returns on Sunday, November 9th and will be played in the afternoon between 12.00pm and 12.45pm off 2 tees, followed by dinner upstairs at Ranfurlie.

All Member categories from Ranfurlie 5,6 & 7 along with Bronze members, and including Lifestyle members are eligible to play in the Jack Ash event, however only Full Category Members playing within the same group are eligible for the Jack Ash Trophy. (Lifestyle and Ranfurlie 9 members are ineligible to win Jack Ash Trophy).

If you are interested in entering this club event, please do not hesitate to contact the Pro Shop for tee times as we will require certain numbers for this event to go ahead.

Junior Pennant Update – Round 4

Match: Ranfurlie vs Rossdale @ Rossdale
Result: Match Drawn

Sadly due to weather and course conditions last Sundays match was abandoned with a drawn match accepted between Ranfurlie and Rossdale. This places us equal 2nd on the ladder with Spring Valley with Rossdale Birdies sitting on some of the ladder, by 1 point.

Our team head to Royal Melbourne Golf Club this Sunday with first tee times from 12.40pm off the 1st tee on the East Course.

We need to win to give ourselves every chance of securing a spot in the finals.

Senior Pennant – Round 4 at Settlers Run

Ranfurlie’s scratch team fell just short losing 4-3 against Southern GC in a close contest at Settlers Run last Friday. Will Carter’s fine form continued winning 4-3 together with wins for Anthony Campbell by 3-1 and Kevin Forster 1-up. The handicap team recorded wins for Mick Ferris and debutant Surit Sethi in a 5-2 team loss.
Competition rules allowing just five appearances for each player over the qualifying seven rounds explain why line-ups vary from week-to-week.

The Longest Day - Golf for a Great Cause Monday December 8th

We're Excited to announce that Ranfurlie will be taking part in the Longest Day - The ultimate challenge to raise funds for the Cancer Council.

The challenge is to complete four rounds of golf in one day — a true test of endurance, teamwork and determination — all while supporting cancer research and prevention.

It's a great way to spend a day on the course with mates, push yourself to the limit, and make a real difference in the fight against cancer. Registration is now open for members and their guests with guests paying the one 18-hole fee regardless of how many holes they play, and any Cart hire will be charged at $44 per 18 holes required.
