M.A Kaye Cup winner 2025

Congratulations to Cheryl Adams, winner of this year’s Midweek Ladies Match Play event, the M.A. Kaye Cup. 

Cheryl defeated Kerry Aanensen 5 & 4 in the final last Monday. 

Well done to both players on making it through to the final.

Bunker Rake Placement Reminder

Members may have noticed a message when booking, reminding everyone to place bunker rakes in the middle of the bunker, in line with play.

It has been observed that some members are still leaving rakes on the bunker edge. Please note this is not acceptable. Groups found to be deliberately following this practice will face disciplinary action.

Please do the right thing - We appreciate your cooperation in maintaining course standards for all players.

Our condolences go to Janet's Friends and Family at this sad time.

Reminder:17th Temporary Green

We are undertaking essential bunker construction work on the 17th green complex, which will necessitate temporary changes to the course.

In progress starting last Friday, 8th August, the 17th green is out of play during weekdays to ensure the safety of our staff and to allow the greens time to recover. The green will be reinstated for play on weekends. Temporary greens will be established just short of the existing 17th green during these weekday periods.

We anticipate this construction will take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete. Clear signage will be displayed to inform members when the temporary greens are in use.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we enhance our facilities to maintain the highest standards for your enjoyment. 

Applications Now Open - Carts for members with mobility or disability requirements

Ranfurlie Golf Club remains committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all members can continue to enjoy golf—both socially and competitively—for as long as possible.

In line with this commitment, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce that applications are once again open for members seeking special consideration due to a verified mobility disability. 

Next Thursday 28^th August - 4BBB Stableford Daily Competition

Registration & Scorecards

• Players will be registered for the competition by the Pro Shop.
• Pre-printed scorecards will be provided once the $5 per player entry fee is paid.
• The Mi Score App may still be used, but you must collect your pre-printed card to confirm you are paired with the correct partner.
• Please do not manually select playing partners via Mi Score - The Pro Shop will control pairings to ensure accurate results.

• This is a pairs-only event. Please coordinate with your partner to book into Cells 1 & 2, or 3 & 4 on the timesheet so you are paired correctly.
• If you are playing in a group of three, the lowest marker will act as the swinger and must be booked in Cell 1, partnering with both Cell 2 & Cell 3.

Scoring Format

• On each hole, record the best score of the two players.
• Clearly indicate whether the score was made by Player 1 (P1) or Player 2 (P2), as handicap differences may affect the final score, this will make the score upload at end of your round much smoother.

Events @ Amstel

There’s been a lot of interest lately in booking our function spaces here at the Amstel Group, and as a result, dates for the rest of 2025 are filling up quickly.

Our functions team is currently busy organising a range of events, including birthdays, baby showers, weddings, and engagements, for both members and guests.

If you’re thinking about holding a celebration, we recommend reaching out soon.

Functions can be held at either Amstel Club or Ranfurlie Golf Club.
