Course Update – Temporary Hole and Access Changes
A Message from your Course Superintendent Andrew Anderson

Please note that from Monday 20th, the 4th green will be out of play to allow for upcoming works.
During this period, the hole will play as a short par 4 measuring approximately 275 metres. Members are reminded to exercise caution — if you are capable of reaching the green from the tee, please ensure the group ahead and any staff working nearby are clear before playing your shot.
Additionally, the 5th tee will be relocated to a temporary position at the front of the 5th fairway. The entire area surrounding the 4th green and 5th tee will be designated as an exclusion zone.
Only authorised personnel will be permitted within this area. Do not enter under any circumstances without prior approval from the Course Superintendent.

Hole in One on the 7th

Last Sunday afternoon, Gold Member Leigh Bomford recorded a hole-in-one on the 7th hole during competition play. Congratulations to Leigh on this fantastic achievement! He will receive a certificate, cap, and a bottle of wine thanks to our sponsors at St Hallets wines, the next time we catch up with him.

Report on Senior Pennant v Settlers Run

Last week’s home fixture against a formidable Settlers Run side saw a close 4-3 loss for the handicap team with impressive wins for David Loughnan, David Iggo and Mick Obrien.
The scratch team’s performance in losing 6½-½ can be measured by our opponents to date having lost just seven individual matches out of forty-two played.

Ranfurlie will head to Keysborough GC on Friday to face a Spring Valley handicap team needing a win to maintain a place in the finals.

We will be hosting a Corporate Day from 11.30am.

Whilst there will be morning spots available for the Casual Competition, there will potentially be no Golf Carts available to hire.

This is important for our regular Cart Pass holders who wish to use a cart for golf on this day.

The Longest Day - Golf for a Great Cause Monday December 8th

We're Excited to announce that Ranfurlie will be taking part in the Longest Day - The ultimate challenge to raise funds for the Cancer Council.

The challenge is to complete four rounds of golf in one day — a true test of endurance, teamwork and determination — all while supporting cancer research and prevention.

It's a great way to spend a day on the course with mates, push yourself to the limit, and make a real difference in the fight against cancer. Registration is now open for members and their guests with guests paying the one 18-hole fee regardless of how many holes they play, and any Cart hire will be charged at $44 per 18 holes required.

Please note members on Monthly direct debits, now have just 7 days after their payment defaults to fixup their missing payment before having their membership suspended. Members in this situation can reactivate their account at any time by paying either online, or at the Ranfurlie Pro Shop or Sports Bar tills.

We ask that members please be aware that paying your invoices online subjects you to a small surcharge of 1.65% plus 0.55c. If you wish to avoid this fee, you can pay your invoices in person at the Pro Shop or over the phone.
