Changes Coming to Ranfurlie Golf Club There are a few important changes on the way for golfers. Golf Australia CONNECT will replace the GOLF Link system and go live on 2 October 2025 as Golf Australia’s new digital platform. This new system will feature a fresh website (GOLF.com.au) and an official Golf Australia App to manage handicaps and other digital services. Please note that GOLF Link will cease to operate on 28 September 2025, creating a short blackout period for handicapping before the new platform launches. From October 2, all handicapping will be managed through the new Golf Australia App. Important Timelines and Impacts to Members during Transition dates. Monday 29th September - While handicaps are frozen from today, the Mi Club competition system will remain in operation. Tuesday 30th September - While handicaps are frozen from today, the Mi Club competition system will remain in operation. Wednesday 1st October - Scheduled for Mi Club's uploading of their systems, meaning the Mi Clubs competition processes will not be available. As result, the Ladies Medal day will be move to the 15th October, leaving opportunity to run the 2 week Ladies Foursomes Championship on the 1st and 8th of October. Thursday 2nd October to Sunday 5th October - While handicaps are frozen from today, the Mi Club competition system will remain in operation. From Monday 6th October the Golf Connect process will be in place, with Competitions and Handicapping submissions available for use. PLEASE NOTE: With the transitions players may find adjustments to their G.A handicap. And also during the transition dates above, all scores submitted will not be retrospectively handicapped once the next system is unveiled. We thoroughly recommend for future handicap lookup, that all members download the golf connect app to their phone in preparation for the changes. Throughout the period and moving forward, pro shop staff will be on hand to assist members with any teething issues. |
