Pennant Update

The Ranfurlie Pennant Final will be played at Southern Golf Course this Saturday 3rd May, teeing off at 8:30am.

We encourage all of our members to head down to show our team some support if they are available on the day!

Course Working Bee

Members are invited on Wednesday 7th May to a special working bee, on course from 7.30am.

Activities planned over the 2 hour period (approx) will include tree planting followed by complimentary light snacks and refreshments.

Any members interested, please place your name on the special 7th May working bee timesheet or phone the pro shop on 9788 8288.

Divot Repair

With roughly 1000 players playing every week on average. The Golf Club and Grounds staff are working hard to present our golf course in the best possible condition. We kindly request that members adhere to the following guidelines:

  1. Carry a Sand Bucket: Always carry a sand bucket regularly topped up to repair all your divots and any others you see on fairways.
  2. Repair Pitch Marks: When you play a good shot to the greens, please do your best to repair all your pitch marks.
While it is the responsibility of the low marker in every group to advise players. the Cooperation of all players is required in maintaining the quality of our course for everyone to enjoy, repeated offenders may face disciplinary committee.

Bunker Raking

A reminder to all members, once the bunker has been raked straight after a shot, the rake is to be returned as close to the middle of the bunker as possible.

Some players are regularly placing the bunker rake either outside the bunker or as shown below half in and half out. Members are reminded as a group to pull up bad course etiquette such as this, and repeat offenders shall face disciplinary action.

Please refer to the picture below for proper use and placement of the bunker rake.

This two-part video update provides valuable insight into the work happening across the course, including tee and fairway recovery following a tough summer, bunker planning, greens performance tracking, rough management, and more.

Community Safety Reminder from Victoria Police

Victoria Police have asked us toremind all members of the community to remain vigilant and take simple steps to protect their property. There has been a recent increase in opportunistic thefts in the Casey area, with unattended vehicles being a common target.

To help prevent theft, we encourage everyone to:

  • Always lock your vehicle, even if you're only stepping away for a moment.
  • Avoid leaving valuables such as wallets, phones, laptops, or bags in plain sight.
  • Park in well-lit, populated areas whenever possible.
  • Report any suspicious activity to Victoria Police immediately.

By taking these basic precautions, we can work together to reduce crime and keep our community safe. Thank you for your cooperation.

Biggest Morning Tea - Women's Charity Event

Ladies save the date - In the spirit of raising funds for a cause that touches us all, and as a wonderful opportunity to showcase the beautiful Ranfurlie Golf Course, we invite women of all golfing abilities to join us on Wednesday, 21st May for a fun and inclusive Ambrose golf day.

Following the round, enjoy a light snack lunch and continue the festivities with:

  • Novelty free-hit shots available for purchase to boost your group's game
  • Memorial cards for sale in honour of loved ones
  • Silent auction events held upstairs during lunch

Such objections shall be considered by the Board, whose decision shall be final.

Please note members on Monthly direct debits, now have just 7 days after their payment defaults to fixup their missing payment before having their membership suspended. Members in this situation can reactivate their account at any time by paying either online, or at the Ranfurlie Pro Shop or Sports Bar tills.

If you have new payment details to update, or you are having financial difficulty please contact membership early to assist at.

We ask that members please be aware that paying your invoices online subjects you to a small surcharge of 1.65% plus 0.55c. If you wish to avoid this fee, you can pay your invoices in person at the Pro Shop or over the phone. 
Please also avoid using apple pay processes which are not accepted by Payrix or Mi Club.
