Pennant Team on Top of Their Game!

Ranfurlie's Pennant Team defeated the previous top team Berwick - Montuna 4-3 last Sunday at Melton Valley - great effort from our boys! See the Pennant Managers Report below!

Ranfurlie remains unbeaten following a 4-3 win against table leaders Berwick-Montuna in Round 4 at Melton Valley.

Anthony Arce led the way with his first Pennant success of the season winning 3/1. Three losses surrounding Jamie Ricardo's solid 6/5 win at number four meant Daniel Burnett's late 3/1 win at number two was once again vital, leaving Mark Halas's match at number one as the decider. Mark recovered in spectacular fashion from 4 down on the 10th tee to be all square at the final hole, and truly remarkable comeback against his professional opponent was achieved with a solid par to win 1 up.

Ranfurlie lies third in the latest table behind Berwick-Montuna and Churchill-Waverley , each with 3 points and positions decided on individual matches won and lost. The clubs above have both played an extra fixture and the table will not be equitable across the Division until Round 7 is completed. Round 5 after Easter sees Churchill-Waverley with the bye while Ranfurlie plays Club Mandalay at Cheltenham 7.45am tee.

Timesheet Cancelation

As we transition back to 7:30 am tee times with the end of Daylight Savings, we remind everyone of their responsibility regarding booking cancellations.

Limited morning tee times mean that every slot is valuable to our member base. If you find that you're unable to play despite having made a booking, we kindly request that you cancel your booking in advance. This responsibility falls on each individual member. Please do not rely on your playing partner to cancel on your behalf.

Golf shop staff have been instructed to record any instances of no-shows on the timesheet each day. Repeat offenders may face disciplinary action. Let's all prioritise consideration for our fellow members by ensuring timely cancellations when necessary.

4BBB Mi Score System

With the club now adopting the online Mi Score System this year for 4BBB events as opposed to manual cards and entry. This comes with certain requirements that must be followed.

  • If you happen to be in a group of 3, the low marker in the group is automatically set as the swinger, this can't be changed by staff.
  • Also if you are a group of 3, all 3 players must either be on the app or all used the printed card. The system does not recognise a mix of both.
  • If in a group of 4, Cell 1 & 2 and 3 & 4 are automatically matched, however the arrangement can be changed at registration if traditionally balls are thrown up to determine partners. This is why you see all 4 names to verify your partners.

The Pro Shop staff are here to help, so please let them know if you need any guidance on these 4BBB Days.

April Corporate Days

Please note the following Friday Corporate Days scheduled for early April. As there will be limited time slots, we recommend using your reciprocal privileges at one of our nearby Courses.

  • Friday 5th April - Large morning Corporate Day, limited times in morning.
  • Friday 12th April - Corporate Group, limited times in the morning.
