Senior, Junior, Super Senior & Handicap Championships Winners

Congratulations to the following winners of various championships completed last Saturday. After the Final Round of Club Championships, a special presentation will be held at 11am in the Members Lounge on Saturday 2nd March.

2024 Champions:

A Grade Handicap Championship - John Holden 142 c/b and Runner Up Michael Neal Runner Up 142 c/b

B Grade Handicap Championship - Josh Donohue 133 and R/Up Shane O'Brien 141

C Grade Handicap Championship - Brian Eastwood 139 and R/Up Richard Dunsmuir 141

Seniors Scratch Championships - Peter Kane 154 and Runner Up Michael Neal 160

Super Seniors 70 & Over - Brian Eastwood 139

Juniors Scratch Championship - Anthony Arce 163

Club Championships Final 8 qualifiers scores for this weeks Quarter Finals were:

Jamie Ricardo 152, all on 154 John Holden, Peter Kane and Daniel Burnett and Pat Lloyd, Mark Halas 156, and on 157 Gavin Steel and Ben Shelag.

Heat Policy Reminder

With the chance of some high temperatures similar to last Sunday over the coming 6-8 weeks, members are reminded of the Golf Club's current heat policy, which is found on the Ranfurlie Website here.

The main takeaway is if the forecast at midday for the day prior to a daily competition is 38 degrees or hotter, the afternoon competition for the next day is cancelled. 


Members can still play in the afternoon, but there will only be a morning competition available. The golf club encourage all members to please be sun smart, and if you are susceptible to hot conditions to consider not playing that day.

Upcoming Club and Corporate events at Ranfurlie

Members are reminded to note the following dates where course access will be limited. At these times we encourage our members to utilize our reciprocal and partner course privilege's.


Friday 16th February - Morning Course closure for Shotgun Start. Limited spots available until the afternoon.

Wednesday 21st February - 1st Rnd Women's Club Championships, Social play available from 12 Midday.

Sunday 25th February - Ranfurlie Pennant Hosting - Limited Morning members competition field.

Wednesday 28th February -  2nd Rnd Women's Club Championships, Social play available from 12 Midday.

Coaching Update - Bookings Now Available

A reminder that online bookings with both Jack & Ben are now available! Jack will be conducting private lessons as well as facilitating the majority of our clinics, as well as being involved with a host of other activities for the club.

Please note Ben Bunny's role as a sub-contractor remains unchanged and will continue to coach, mainly focusing on doing his private lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Such objections shall be considered by the Board, whose decision shall be final.

Please note members on Monthly direct debits, now have just 7 days after their payment defaults to fixup their missing payment before having their membership suspended. Members in this situation can reactivate their account at any time by paying either online, or at the Ranfurlie Pro Shop or Sports Bar tills.
