DRIVING RANGE CLOSURES MONDAY 29 - WEDNESDAY JANUARY 

Members please note, whilst the new inRange installation starts to take shape the following driving range closures will apply:

  • Monday 29th January to Wednesday 31st January - Full range closures all day and night. 
  • The Sports Bar and Members Lounge will be open until approx. 8pm each night.
  • Thursday 1st & Friday 2nd January - Partial Range closures possible throughout the day. 

During the works, the Golf Course and Venue will be open with normal trading hours, until approximately 8pm nightly.

Please note all dates and times maybe subject to change at late notice.

MEMBERS TURNING UP FOR GOLF WITHOUT A BOOKING - PLEASE CHECK IN TO PRO SHOP

Members are reminded that it is a privilege and not a right to play at Ranfurlie. To play golf at Ranfurlie you must have a booking. This can be done online, by calling the Pro Shop or if a last minute hit, check into the Pro shop to ask the staff when you can hit off and your name will be placed on the timesheet. Please only hit off the tee's the pro shop team direct you to.

Recently, Members have been hitting off prior to 7am without checking into the Pro Shop, or hitting off in front of the 3.30pm field again without checking in. 

Checking in is important for health and safety reasons which can impact players and our ground staff out on course. It also assists our team to follow processes relating to notifying players of incumbent weather threats, and also ensures accurate daily recording of members and their guests. 

All players must check in to Pro Shop prior to hitting off, failure to do so could result in warnings and lead to disciplinary action.

AMITEE - NUDGEE GOLF CLUB - QUEENSLAND

MEMBERS INTENDING TO PARTICIPATE PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR FORMS AND RETURN TO THE PRO SHOP. It is now time to return your forms, this destination is very popular and will be allocated to another golf club if entries are not submitted before the start of February. 

Coaching Update - Bookings Now Available

A reminder that online bookings with both Jack & Ben are now available! Jack will be conducting private lessons as well as facilitating the majority of our clinics, as well as being involved with a host of other activities for the club.

Please note Ben Bunny's role as a sub-contractor remains unchanged and will continue to coach, mainly focusing on doing his private lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Term 1 Junior & Women's Clinics

Term 1 Clinics with Jack Cox PGA are just around the corner! Ranfurlie Golf Club's Junior & Women's Clinic programs are a fantastic way of learning new skills in a fun and social environment!

A range of clinic days are available commencing in the first week of February for both the Women’s and Junior programs.

OUR YOUNG JUNIOR TALENT - 65 Off the Stick!

Just a quick note on one of our up and coming Juniors Anthony Arce... Although off the Yellow tees yesterday, Anthony completed his full round for 41 Stableford Points which won A Grade, and in doing so managed a nice 65 off the stick scratch score!

Well done to Anthony and just in time for Club and Junior Championships.

Mixed Foursomes Championships - Entries close Tuesday 30th January.

Members please note the Mixed Foursomes Championship entry opens this Friday 12th January and closes Tuesday 30th January. From there, a seeded draw will be created so groups may not be as they were shown when you entered. 

Round 1 will be on Sunday February 11th. If anyone is having trouble booking their names, please contact the Pro Shop for assistance.

February Fitting Days

February will see the return of our popular fitting days, with more planned throughout the year from various companies.

Callaway will be on site at the Club on Wednesday 14th February!

Current Members may lodge a written objection to any application, addressed to the Golf Services Manager, Andrew Bourne abourne@ranfurlie.com.au

Such objections shall be considered by the Board, whose decision shall be final.

Please note members on Monthly direct debits, now have just 7 days after their payment defaults to fixup their missing payment before having their membership suspended. Members in this situation can reactivate their account at any time by paying either online, or at the Ranfurlie Pro Shop or Sports Bar tills.

AUSTRALIA DAY AT AMSTEL CLUB

Celebrate Australia Day at Amstel with FREE live music on Thursday night from 6-9 leading into the Australia Day holiday. We don't stop there, as we have free live music again on Australia Day evening from 6-9.  

A great way to celebrate the long weekend and enjoy a catch up with mates!
