Hall Road Intersection Roadworks Now In Place

Please be advised that significant road works are ongoing to 5am Monday 22 January.

Patrons travelling to Ranfurlie from the South have no impact on their travel, however if travelling from the North please take note of the detours in place highlighted in the attached image. Please be mindful of the residents of Snead Blvd and surrounding streets as it is anticipated this will be a busier road than usual.

Coaching Update - Bookings Now Available

Following last week's update announcing Ranfurlie Golf Club's newest full time employee, PGA member Jack Cox as a full time PGA Teaching Professional, we are pleased to advise that online bookings are now available with Jack for lessons from Wednesday Jan 17. Jack will be conducting private lessons and the majority of clinics along with a host of other activities for the club

Please note Ben Bunny's role as a sub-contractor remains unchanged and will continue to coach, mainly focusing on doing his private lessons on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

Members please note due to a delivery accident, the foyer of the Ranfurlie Clubhouse is currently not accessible until vital repairs can be completed.

DRIVING RANGE CLOSURES OVER COMING WEEKS

Members please note the following Range closures involved with the installation of the new In Range technology.

Please note all dates and times maybe subject to change at late notice.

Thursday 18th January - Partial closure of some bays throughout the day
Friday 19th January - Full closure of Driving Range until approximately 3pm.
Monday 29th January to Wednesday 31st January - Full Range closures until 6pm each evening.
Thursday 1st and Friday 2nd - Partial Range closures possible throughout the day.

The Golf Course and Venue will be open with normal hours.

Reminder: Driving Range Opening Hours

Members please note, the weekly maintenance on the range that was occurring every Wednesday morning will now be occurring on Monday mornings, as of the Monday (Jan 8). As a result, the driving range will not be open until 10am on Mondays, and will revert to a 7.30am opening time on Wednesdays.

Monday: 10am - 10:30pm
Tuesday: 7:30am - 10:30pm
Wednesday: 7:30am - 10:30pm
Thursday: 7:30am - 10:30pm
Friday: 7:30am - 10:30pm
Saturday: 7:30am - 10:30pm
Sunday: 7:30am - 7:30pm

Last range balls sold 30 minutes prior to closure.

Members own small eskys onto the course

Members are allowed to bring on to the course soft eskys with packed lunches etc., but staff may on occasion inspect bags for unauthorized alcohol. Bringing outside alcohol is prohibited to protect the club's liquor licenses. Please purchase alcohol at designated areas including Pro Shop, Members lounge and Sports Bar.

Repeat offenders may face the disciplinary committee.

AMITEE - NUDGEE GOLF CLUB - QUEENSLAND

MEMBERS INTENDING TO GO PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR FORMS AND RETURN TO THE PRO SHOP. It is now time to return your forms, this destinations is very popular and will be allocated to another golf club if entries are not submitted before the start of February.

CLUB, SENIOR & JUNIOR SCRATCH ENTRY CLOSES THIS FRIDAY 19th JANUARY

Members please note the scratch championships closes this Friday, a seeded draw will be created soon after. Round 1 will be on 3rd February 2024. If you have trouble finding the timesheet, please click on the calendar for Feb 3 to find the open timesheet. Please note the Handicap Championships you enter on the day on Round One, Saturday February 3rd.

Mixed Foursomes Championships

Members please note the Mixed Foursomes Championship entry opens this Friday 12th January and closes Tuesday 30th January. A seeded draw will be created after that. Round 1 will be on Sunday February 11th. With only 3 entrants so far, if anyone is having trouble booking their names, please contact the Pro Shop for assistance.

February upcoming fitting Days

February sees the return of our popular fitting days, with more planned throughout the year from various companies.

Callaway are coming on Wednesday 14th February.

Mizuno

Mizuno will be also coming on Wednesday 21st February.

VALE - KEVIN SHARP

It is with deep regret that the club announces the passing of long serving member Kevin Sharp. He had not been a member for many years due to ill health, but would be remembered by a lot of members as a likeable character of the club. Kevin passed away last Wednesday and our sympathies go out to his friends and family.
