Dear Member 

In anticipation of good news from the State Government this coming Monday we are preparing for the re-opening of the golf course and Pro Shop from as early as Tuesday May 12. If not at the same time, the Sports Bar and Driving Range may follow soon after. 

At this stage we're anticipating that play will be in 2's but we're ready for all possibilities. Every day will be a one tee start from the 1st Tee ONLY with play commencing from first light each day to maximise the opportunity for Members to play. 

Should these parameters change we will advise immediately.

One of the first questions will be around booking for golf. Timesheets will open at both the Pro Shop and on the website at the same time. The booking kiosk near the locker rooms will remain turned off. 

The following timesheet opening times are based on receiving the green light to re-open on Tuesday May 12. Should this date be pushed back we will remove the relevant timesheets accordingly. All other opening times will remain as detailed below.

If we are indeed limited to playing in 2's we ask that due to the reduced number of time-slots available that Members limit themselves to a maximum of 2 or 3 games per week so we can try to accommodate everyone. If we find there are problems with Members not getting a game then we will be forced to impose booking limits. Please do not book anyone onto the timesheet unless they are certain of playing. No shows will inconvenience other Members and will be harshly dealt with.

We understand that some of the restrictions in place will cause some frustration but we look to Members to be accepting of these measures knowing they are necessary to get us back out and playing. It should also be noted that staff don't have the discretion to vary and of these restrictions so please do not place them under any undue pressure. We're all here to make your time at the club as enjoyable as possible.

We don't consider this pandemic to be over yet, but we do consider golf as one of the best open space, outdoor recreational activities which meets the government criteria for social distancing. However, if you feel you are still at risk or are at all unwell you are advised to stay at home.

Tue May 12 Timesheet - Opens Monday May 11 at 11:00am
Wed May 13 Timesheet - Opens Monday May 11 at 12 Noon. 
This timesheet is available to all Members all day from first light except between 8:00am - 9:30am which is reserved for Ladies Competition play.
Thu May 14 Timesheet - Opens Monday May 11 at 1:00pm
Fri May 15 Timesheet - Opens Monday May 11 at 2:00pm
Sat May 16 Timesheet - Opens Monday May 11 at 3:00pm

These bookings will open on Tuesday May 12:
Sun May 17 Timesheet - Opens Tuesday May 12 at 9:00am
Mon May 18 Timesheet - Opens Tuesday May 12 at 10:00am
Wed May 20 Timesheet - Opens Tuesday May 12 at 11:00am

These bookings will open on Wednesday May 13:
Tue May 19 Timesheet - Opens Wednesday May 13 at 10:00am
Thu May 21 Timesheet - Opens Wednesday May 13 at 11:00am

Bookings from Friday May 22 onwards
* All Timesheets will open online and at the Pro Shop - 8 days prior at 10:00am
* This means Friday May 22 Timesheet will open Thursday May 14 at 10:00am etc
* Bookings can be made in one of two ways - either by phone to the Pro Shop on 9788 8288 or via the website. Both will be available at the same time.

MEMBER SUBSCRIPTION PAYMENTS

Detailed information about subscriptions, including monthly payments, unpaid fees and compensation for the closure period will all be forwarded to Members in an email once the course re-opens.

In the meantime, subscription payments can be made via electronic funds transfer to Amstel GC Inc BSB: 193-879, ACC: 450 668 868. Please add your surname and member number as reference.
