CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Congratulations to Peter Pfaifer on his 2/1 victory over Daniel Burnett in the 36 Hole Final of the club Championships last Saturday.

It was back to back wins for Peter which is a wonderful effort.

Congratulations to our A,B and C Grade Handicap Champions and our Seniors Champion for 2020. Replica Trophies for each division have now been sent off to the engravers which should be ready for collection in a few weeks time. Well done to everyone who competed and in particular our Runners Up.

PENNANT - ROUND 1

Our Men's Division 5 team got off to a great start with a first round victory 4 - 3 over Cheltenham at Green Acres.

The Ladies Division 4 will play their first round match this Friday 28th February at The Heritage Golf Course.

NATURE STRIP COMPLETED - It's a whole new look

The front entry turfing at Ranfurlie has now been completed. The area was firstly stripped and excavated with some of the plants being re-planted around our dam, and a big thanks to Dads army for that work. Irrigation was then installed, followed by the ground staff taking over 30mts of top soil out the front and shaping ready for turf. Over 850 square metres of turf was laid on Tuesday.

We're very happy of the new look of the entry to the club and landscaping in and around the planter boxes at the front entry are still to come.

AMITEE WEEKEND COMING UP AT RANFURLIE

FRIDAY MARCH 6th to SUNDAY MARCH 8th

With Ranfurlie hosting the very special 50th Amitee 4 - State Club event over the Labour Day. We have prepared some information for members that still wish to play outside the event times in Members Competitions through the long weekend.

Thursday 5th - Normal Members Stroke Medal Competition during this afternoon Interstate players will begin registering for the weekend at the bottom end of the Pro Shop.

Friday 6th - Casual play off 2 Tees for 18 Holes from 7.15am to 7.30am then 9 Holes only until 9.30am off the 1st Tee.

Amitee Ladies Calamitee Cup from 10am off both tees. Casual Play then allowed after approximately 2.30pm. No Twilight Competition tonight.

Saturday 7th - Members Stroke Medal postponed until next Saturday. Competition will be Stableford off 2 Tees from 7.15am to 8.45am.

Afternoon Amitee Men's Competition from 11.37am to 1pm off 2 Tees.

Sunday 8th - Members Par Competition with a 7.15am & 7.22am SHOTGUN START. With 27 Carts booked in the afternoon, we ask all morning cart users to please return carts to pro shop promptly for the large afternoon use.

Afternoon Shotgun Start Irish 5 Ball Amitee Final competition from 12.30pm.

Monday 9th - Labour Day carry over holiday Men and Women Members Competition off 1st tee all day from 7.15am.
