Sunday Match Play Cup Final Draw

Both players have qualified for the Sunday Match Play Cup Final, which will tee off at 8:00am this Sunday, 10th August.

Privilege Cup qualifying this Saturday

This Saturday marks the Privilege Cup Qualifying round. 

The top 2 scores from the morning field and the top 2 scores from the afternoon field will advance to the Semi Finals to be held the following Saturday at 8:00 am and 12:00 noon, respectively.

Please tick the box at registration only if you are available for the following two Saturdays, including the Semi Finals and Final.

As outlined in the updated Conditions of Play, the winner will have their name inscribed on the trophy, along with receiving a $200 Voucher and the runner up a $50 voucher in recognition of their achievement.

Eligibility Notice:
As this is a Board event, Lifestyle Members and Members with less than 3 months' membership are not eligible to participate, but are able to play the daily comp of the day.

We are undertaking essential bunker construction work on the 17th green complex, which will necessitate temporary changes to the course. 

Beginning this Friday, 8th August, the 17th green will be out of play during weekdays to ensure the safety of our staff and to allow the greens time to recover. The green will be reinstated for play on weekends. Temporary greens will be established just short of the existing 17th green during these weekday periods. 

We anticipate this construction will take approximately 3-4 weeks to complete. Clear signage will be displayed to inform members when the temporary greens are in use. 

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we enhance our facilities to maintain the highest standards for your enjoyment.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of member Terry Casey on Tuesday, 5th August.

Our thoughts are with his friends, family and his playing partners at this difficult time.

Applications Now Open - Carts for members with mobility or disability requirements

Ranfurlie Golf Club remains committed to fostering an inclusive environment where all members can continue to enjoy golf—both socially and competitively—for as long as possible. In line with this commitment, the Board of Directors is pleased to announce that applications are once again open for members seeking special consideration due to a verified mobility disability.

Please note that all previously approved applicants must reapply for the upcoming 12-month period. Applications will close on September 30th, 2025.

Club Rule: Use of Golf Carts by Members with a Mobility Disability

This rule provides specific provisions for Ranfurlie Golf Club members who, due to a confirmed disability, require the use of a golf cart to participate in Club activities.

Eligibility and Conditions:

• Approved applicants will be required to pay a $10 fee per cart use, per round (9 or 18 holes), one designated day per week.
• Members must nominate no more than two preferred weekdays for cart use as part of their application.
• Availability is limited to two carts per weekday, and bookings will be allocated accordingly.

New Driving Range Mats Installed – Old Mats Now Available for Purchase! 

Members may have noticed this week that new Driving Range mats have been installed across all bays at the Ranfurlie Range—excluding the Premium Room. 

We hope all members enjoy the refreshed hitting surfaces and the improved experience they bring. 

But there’s even more good news!

We’ve stored all the old mats, and they are now available for purchase by members, with all proceeds going directly to our community partners at SES Cranbourne.

A New Era for Golf Online – GOLF.com.au Launches October 2
Ranfurlie Members may have received the email in the link below last week. As part of the national transition led by Golf Australia and the PGA of Australia, GOLF.com.au will officially launch on Thursday, October 2, 2025, becoming Australia’s central digital hub for all things golf.

Replacing several existing sites (including GOLF Link), this modern and mobile-friendly platform will be the new home for golfers to check their GA Handicap, book tee times, find lessons or clinics, track progress, and stay connected with golf news and events—all in one place.

Members, please stay tuned for further updates in the coming weeks as we finalise timelines for the transition to this exciting new platform—your new home for handicaps and much more.

There’s been a lot of interest lately in booking our function spaces here at the Amstel Group, and as a result, dates for the rest of 2025 are filling up quickly.

Our functions team is currently busy organising a range of events, including birthdays, baby showers, weddings, and engagements, for both members and guests.
