GPL Champions 2025 - Tee Breakers

Congratulations to our 2025 GPL Champions - Tee Breakers who defeated Foregasms with a score of 105 to 98. Great effort to both teams for making it to the Finals!

Save the Date: This coming Saturday the 13th September at 11am, there will be a short presentation of the winners and runner ups along with the Brownlow medal winner and the All Ranfurlie Team of the season. 

Come along to cap off the season in style.

Canadian Stableford Mixed Event – Roy Battley Plate

This Sunday, 14th September, we will be holding the Canadian Stableford Mixed Event for the Roy Battley Plate. 

Please Note: A minimum of 4 pairs is required for the event to proceed, with the cutoff at 4:00pm on Thursday.

Bookings open 9 days prior, with allocated tee times from 12:00 midday in groups of four or six.

The competition format will be Canadian Stableford, with combined handicaps calculated at ⅜ (three-eighths).

• Pro Shop staff will be available on the day to assist anyone new to the format.

• Manual entry will be used, with both an entry sheet and scorecards provided.

Ace on the 9th

Congratulations to James Willcourt on scoring a hole-in-one on  the 9th Hole yesterday being Tuesday! Measuring 125m, James pulled out his 9 iron and hit the perfect shot.

Callaway Fitting Event – Tuesday 16 September

Callaway will be hosting a special fitting event at Ranfurlie on Tuesday 16 September, with fitting times available between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.

Spots are limited, so be sure to book your session as soon as possible using the link below.

Srixon Fitting Day

Join us on Tuesday, 30th September, for a Srixon Fitting Day Event! Fitting times will be between 10:00am and 2:00pm.

Changes Coming to Ranfurlie Golf Club

There are a few important changes on the way for golfers. Golf Australia CONNECT will replace the GOLF Link system and go live on 2 October 2025 as Golf Australia’s new digital platform. This new system will feature a fresh website (GOLF.com.au) and an official Golf Australia App to manage handicaps and other digital services.

Please note that GOLF Link will cease to operate on 28 September 2025, creating a short blackout period for handicapping before the new platform launches. From October 2, all handicapping will be managed through the new Golf Australia App.

Booking System Update – Effective October 1

To address issues with no-shows especially on weekend timesheets and the challenges many working members face with the 10am release time, the club is introducing the following changes for a trial period:

• Full Members:

  • Bookings will open 6 days in advance at 7pm.

  • Sundays will remain an exception with bookings opening 7 days in advance at 7:15pm.

• Lifestyle Members:

  • Weekday bookings will follow the same system as above.

  • Weekend bookings will continue to open at 10am on the Monday Morning, 5 & 6 days prior.

Example:

• Bookings for the following Saturday timesheet will open on the Sunday at 7pm.

• Bookings for the following Sunday timesheet will open on the same Sunday at 7:15pm.

Applications Now Closed - Carts for members with mobility or disability requirements

Ranfurlie Golf Club wishes to announce that applications are now closed. All applications will now be assessed and all entries will be notified of the outcome incoming weeks.

Member Induction Video Series and Quiz Question

We’re pleased to announce that a new Member Induction process is now in place.
To make things easier to know more about the club and its features, you can now simply complete your induction at your own pace, from the comfort of home: 

• Log in to the Ranfurlie Website 
• Go to the Members tab → Members Information & Policies 
• Scroll to the bottom of the page to access the Member Induction Video Series & Quiz Questions or via the 3rd page of the Ranfurlie App.
• Watch the video and complete the short questionnaire to finalise your induction

This simple and convenient process ensures you stay fully up to date with everything you need to know as a valued Ranfurlie member. 
We strongly encourage all members to complete the quiz and take the opportunity to learn more about the club and its many features.

Events @ Amstel

There’s been a lot of interest lately in booking our function spaces here at the Amstel Group, and as a result, dates for the rest of 2025 are filling up quickly.

Our functions team is currently busy organising a range of events, including birthdays, baby showers, weddings, and engagements, for both members and guests.

If you’re thinking about holding a celebration, we recommend reaching out soon.
