Great Scoring Highlights from Last Weekend

Last weekend delivered some outstanding scoring across both days, highlighting not only great golf but also the superb condition of the course. On Saturday, one of our exciting up-and-coming juniors, Beau Aldons, produced a sensational 63 nett (77 off the stick) to take out the Saturday Medal. Beau’s performance led the way in a remarkable round of scoring, with an impressive 58 players returning 70 nett or better therefore beating their handicap.

The scoring continued on Sunday with Silver member Michael Denisov posting an exceptional 61 nett, while Liza McPherson claimed the Women’s Medal with a strong 68 nett on a countback. Once again, the depth of good golf was on show, with 45 players breaking their handicap with 70 nett or less.

These results are a clear testament to the outstanding work of our ground staff, whose dedication has the course presented in fantastic condition and has certainly made scoring conditions very favourable. Well done to all players involved and congratulations to our weekend winners.
