Course Superintendent’s Report – August 2025

Published on 7th August 2025 in Members News

We’re pleased to share the latest Course Superintendent’s Report, presented by Andrew Anderson. In this update, Andrew provides a seasonal overview of course conditions, project progress, and key developments shaping the remainder of the year.

Unlike the deep-dive April edition, this month’s video is a shorter-format update designed to keep members informed without overwhelming the detail.

Highlights include:

    • Continued improvement in member care and pride across the course

    • Construction of new practice nets nearing completion

    • Positive winter performance of the driving range, with no major closures to date

    • Upgrades to the chipping facility including bunkers, planting, and pathworks

    • Machinery fleet review with new equipment arriving and a shift toward leasing

    • Bunker renovations on Holes 10 and 17, including the exciting discovery of native black sand

    • Seasonal condition updates across greens, tees, fairways, rough and surrounds

    • Clarification on native bunker sand and its performance during wet periods

    • Upcoming works on the 4th tee, including reorientation and vegetation enhancements

On behalf of the team, thank you for your continued support and engagement. We look forward to sharing more as we move into spring.
