HAPPY EASTER TO ALL OUR MEMBERS, STAFF and FAMILIES

Although none of us can get out on the fairways this coming weekend, we hope you will all make the most of this time with your friends and families obviously keeping a healthy distance from each other.

To help pass the time away, please click below for a Ranfurlie Word Puzzle to grind away. This is our first attempt, and feel free to send through some more Ranfurlie related words or some fun facts about Ranfurlie that we can add to another puzzle in coming weeks.

WORD PUZZLE

ON COURSE APRIL

Whilst You're Away

Sadly, the golf course is closed for play.  However, this has not prevented the maintenance staff continuing to maintain the golf course to its normal high standard.

During weeks 1 and 2 of the closure, we have been busy uplifting all of trees that were planted a couple of years ago. Green side bunkers are receiving an overdue over haul and this will allow the floors to drain far more effectively. The Lamadra native grasses that surround the first tee and putting green have also received a hard trim.

We received just over 85mm of rainfall within 5 days making life a little unpleasant for the staff however all are simply happy that work is able to continue.

Take care, we will give members another report in 2 weeks.

GOLF SUBSCRIPTIONS PAYMENTS

Thank you to all Members who have paid their subscriptions to date. This certainly helps the club's cashflow during closure. Subscriptions were due March 31st.

Payments may be made via funds transfer:
Amstel Golf Club Inc: BSB: 193-879 ACC: 450 668 868
Please ensure your surname and Member Number are noted on the payment.

Once again we'd like to advise Members that we will provide a pro rata credit for subscriptions for the period of closure to ensure you are not disadvantaged in any way.

MGI MOTORISED

BUGGY/BATTERY  HIBERNATION

With our buggies and batteries having some down time for the moment due to COVID19. We would like to advise the best way to keep you batteries charged and healthy with some words of advice from our friends at MGI.

IF I AM NOT USING MY BUGGY/ BATTERY WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you will not be using the battery for more than a month, fully charge the unit, remove from charging & store in a warm, dry location. Attempt to use the battery every 1 - 3 months either by lending to a friend or family member for a round or removing the wheels & running the unit in a stationary position for half an hour. Place it back on charge till fully charged & store again.

I would also add not to leave your battery sitting on concrete, try to keep it off the ground on a stable base or a bench.
