Dear Member

Our golf course is looking a picture right now and with all the doom and gloom around we thought we'd keep in touch just to let you know we're still here an thinking of you all.

This edition has the results of our end of season competitions that finished a couple of weeks early due to the close in play. Also please read our article on battery health for your Motorised Buggy during this pause in play.

Also, at the bottom of the email are links to videos promoting our beautiful course and Range. Why not spend a few minutes enjoying the features of this great venue.

The golf course, Range, Sports Bar and Pro Shop are now closed until further notice. If you email us you'll receive an out of office message but these emails will still be checked periodically throughout the closure period.

We trust everyone will stay safe and we look forward to seeing you at the club again soon.

MGI MOTORISED

BUGGY/BATTERY  HIBERNATION

With our buggies and batteries having some down time for the moment due to COVID19. We would like to advise the best way to keep you batteries charged and healthy with some words of advice from our friends at MGI.

IF I AM NOT USING MY BUGGY/ BATTERY WHAT SHOULD I DO?

If you will not be using the battery for more than a month, fully charge the unit, remove from charging & store in a warm, dry location. Attempt to use the battery every 1 - 3 months either by lending to a friend or family member for a round or removing the wheels & running the unit in a stationary position for half an hour. Place it back on charge till fully charged & store again.

I would also add not to leave your battery sitting on concrete, try to keep it off the ground on a stable base or a bench.
